Alumier MD treatments

Alumier MD peels are classed as superficial to medium depth peels that can be tailored and hyper-customised for all Fitzpatrick skin types. Alumier MD believes in repeated treatments for progressive results and to reduce both side effects and down time of the treatments.

One is required to have a consultation prior to receiving treatment. The intensity of treatment is also progressed depending on the condition of the skin, ensures that the skin does not perceive and react to the peel as it would to trauma and encourages gradual exfoliation. If there is any damage to your skin, this will be managed as priority before we can tailor /hyper-customise your peel to achieve the best outcome.

The depth of the peel, condition of peel and the Fitzpatrick skin type skin will determine how your skin needs to be prepared for the peel.  Ideally Fitzpatrick types IV-VI need to be prepared using home products for at least 2 weeks before the peel is completed. Your therapist will discuss and prescribe these for you during your initial consultation. For some skin conditions , it may be required for the therapist to complete the appropriate Alumier MD skin solutions treatment while using home products to prepare the skin for the peel.

Antioxidants, peptides and boosters are applied after the peel to enhance the results of the chemical peel. While one can see the immediate effect bright, smooth and radiant skin after the chemical peel, it is recommended that one has a series of the chemical peels for treating textural issues, pigmentation, fine lines and inflamed acne.

Radiofrequency Facial treatments

This is a non-invasive facial where Radiofrequency (RF) and Vacuum treatments are included. The RF energy is used to heat tissue and stimulate collagen production. This reduces the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. The radio frequency waves excite the molecular structure within the skin tissues generating heat. This thermal energy stimulates production of new collagen production, encourages destruction of old collagen which tighten and lift the skin. Vacuum is also included to boost the lymph and blood circulation. This increased circulation improves skin texture and provides a brighter complexion from the detoxification of the skin. Great to combine with other treatments to achieve even better results.

Treatment can be taken as a course of 10. A treatment every 7 – 10 days and a monthly maintenance facial thereafter.
